Review: Skinny by Diana Spechler

I truly loved the book Skinny.
The story is very original. It follows Gray who after the death of her father begins to compulsively eat. Gray finds out that her father left a trust for a woman, she assumes he had an affair with. She discovers that this woman has a daughter whom she assumes is her sister. After following her sisters blog she discovers that Eden is going to a fat camp. Gray soon leaves NYC, and her boyfriend behind to become a counselor at the camp. She ends up having an affair with a member of the staff. Things begin to unravel at the not so wonderful fat camp and Gray's life gets complicated.

This story was fantastic! It explores the father daughter dynamic, and the effects of emotional eating. This book not only evoked real emotion, but is entertaining at the same time. I look forward to reading Ms. Spechler's future books!
