Carrie Diaries by Candance Bushnell

In preparation for the upcoming CW tv show and being a big Sex and The City fan I recently read The Carrie Diaries by Candance Bushnell. This is a prequal of the the Carrie Bradshow character from Sex and The City. If you were expecting the same sex crazed type of story you would be mistaken. This story follows Carrie as she grows into the character that we all know and love. It starts with her life in high school and how she began her writing career.

    I have this one on my shelf and I'm really interested in reading it. I've never actually read Sex and the City and I didn't care all that much for the show so I'm glad to hear that this one isn't really like that. I will have to check it out.
