Remember Gilmore Girls? Watch Parenthood? Know the funny actress Lauren Graham? Well that Lauren Graham recently wrote a book entitled Someday, Someday, Maybe. This work of fiction does mirror parts of Ms. Graham's life as a struggling actress.
Someday, Someday Maybe follows struggling actress Fanny Banks' life in NYC. She works as a waitress while trying to become successful. After college she set established a three year deadline in which she strives to become famous. The stresses of it become real as the deadline soon approaches.
I loved this book! It's funny as I know it's based on Ms. Graham's life, but as I was reading it I kept picturing Fanny as Alexis Bledel.
For those of you don't know Alexis Bledel played Lauren Graham's daughter
on Gilmore Girls. You can see Ms. Graham's personality throughout the story. It's funny, witty, and charming! I truly hope that Ms. Graham writes a sequel. I would love to see Franny's life grow, maybe have her begin working on a hit tv shows that becomes a cult classic!
